Wallpaper for a wild oasis

A commission for Lewisham council to rejuvenate and brighten up a storage container in a hidden nature reserve.

I decided to paint something that would blend with the surroundings in Spring and Summer and give a cheery pop of colour in colder months. The leaves in the mural are all based on tree species found in the reserve.

This site was originally a train line leading down to Deptford, this island of nature has now been set up as a protected piece of land and allowed to grow wild. It is mainly used for education with regular visits from local schools.
